The Entermodal philosophy originates from the idea that design can be a force for positive and meaningful change.  Owner/lead designer Larry Olmstead opened Entermodal Design Studio in Portland, Oregon in 2004 determined to indulge his passion for design while running his business in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.  This has resulted in an enterprise which is recognized for timeless design, meticulous attention to detail and a deep commitment to environmental sustainability.  These beautifully handcrafted bags are made using vegetable-dyed leather.
